The event featured 875 companies from across the globe, with strong participation from Russia (467) and China (368), along with other international exhibitors. The exhibition space expanded by 25%, covering 45,000 m² and attracting over 30,000 visitors from industries such as construction, machine building, and energy.

Showcasing Innovation and Industry Growth

Metal-Expo 2024 highlighted the latest in metallurgical technologies, steel products, and innovations. New players like the Russian Stainless Company and the Magnitogorsk Rolling Rolls Plant made their debut, alongside established industry leaders. The exhibition emphasized strategic partnerships, employee welfare, and regional development, focusing on modernization and sustainability in the sector.

Key Business Discussions and Agreements

The exhibition facilitated business negotiations and discussions on industry challenges, including the promotion of Russian steel exports and infrastructure projects. MMK and SOLLERS signed a cooperation agreement, while Kamensk-Uralsky Metallurgical Plant entered into a deal with the Central Design Bureau for Hydrofoil Vessels.

Focus on Youth and Innovation

The event also honored young professionals at the "Future is Being Laid Today" ceremony, emphasizing the need for new talent in the industry. This aligns with ongoing efforts to address the shortage of young professionals in metallurgy and metalworking.

Looking Ahead to Metal-Expo 2025

The exhibition’s success underscored its role as a key event for business development and industry innovation. The 31st Metal-Expo will take place from November 11-14, 2025, at the ExpoForum in St. Petersburg, offering even more opportunities for global collaboration and growth.

Metal-Expo 2024 was a testament to the strength and resilience of the metallurgy sector, setting the stage for continued progress and international cooperation in the coming years.
