*The purchaser may specify hardness or tensile values but not both. If neither is specified then tensile values shall apply.
** Values apply to the quenched and tempered condition with thickness 0.30mm ≤ t ≤ 3.00mm and martensitic and/or bainitic structure. For thicker strip or other structure, the values for the maechanical properties shall be agreed at the time of enquiry and order. For material supplied in the quenched and tempered condition, a range of 150 MPa or 50 HV shall apply, e.g. 1150 MPa to 1300 MPa or e.g. 350 HV to 400 HV.
