ⓓ Total aluminum content can be measured instead of acid-soluble aluminum content, in the case, the total aluminum content shall not be less than 0.020%. With the approval of the classification society, other grain refining elements may also be used.
ⓔ Grain refining elements Al, Nb, V, and Ti can be added to the steel individually or in any combination. When added individually, their content shall comply with the provisions of this table; when two or more grain refining elements are added in combination, the lower limit of the grain refining element content in the table shall not apply, and at the same time, it is required that Nb+V+Ti≤0.12%.
ⓕ When aluminum is present in Grade F steel, N≤0.012%.
ⓗ Any other added elements shall be specified in the quality certificate.
